Visiting Medical Students

Visiting Medical Students

The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School offers rotations for visiting fourth-year students. Visiting students are advised to register for EMED 9012 or 9014. We recommend that students registering for the Resuscitation elective (EMED 9014) have already completed a rotation in emergency medicine.

Please note that Standardized Letters of Evaluation from faculty of an emergency medicine residency program (SLOE) are only written for visiting students rotating at the RWJUH New Brunswick site (EMED 9012 and 9014).

All registration is handled through the RWJMS Registrar’s Office, website and further information here: http://rwjms.rutgers.edu/education/medical_education/registrar.html. We do not offer housing or meals to visiting students. Parking is available for a fee.

For any questions regarding the clerkship or medical student education, please contact the clerkship director Dr. Laryssa Patti (pattila@rwjms.rutgers.edu) or the clerkship coordinator Ms. Michelle Bardsley (holswomi@rwjms.rutgers.edu or 732-235-8783).
